make a presentation

It is a very short presentation. I suggest you should first briefly talk about who, of which country and when did candle invented. Then maybe talk about what kinds of candle we have or we use most often right now (especially those with special purpose). Guess these should take you more than 2 minutes already.

To make yourself more confident in front of people. First must memorize well about what you want to present to the class. Practice more in front of a mirror should help. Use a small card to point out what you want to say and bring it along with you during presentation, in case you forget. Don't speak too fast. A moderate speed allows you to control the presentation easier even when you have made mistake. Remember, don't be panic even you forgot something in the middle of presentation. Stay calme. Keep going. No body knows what you have planned to say. No body knows you have missed something. If the things that you have forgot is important to your presentation, maybe can talk about it in another part of your presentation.

Many people shy to look at the audience during presentation. I got a cheap shot.

When you present, try to look at something in between the people. Then it will look like you are looking at the people.

Don't worry! Tell youself you can do it. Even the 1st time might not be as good as you expect. But at least do your best. Then no regrets. Next time will be better for sure. Good luck!
