但首先要說明，any並非一定要配複數名詞
若你查考牛津第六版，你會發現
any配不可數名詞或複數名詞用，如：
I didn't eat any meat.
You can't go out without any shoes.
但any在否定句裏，有時卻可與單數名詞連用，來強調”一個都沒有”，如：
There isn't any apple in the basket(籃子裏一個蘋果也沒有）
There aren't any apples in the basket（籃子裏沒有蘋果）
還有若any解做”任何一個”，any之後也會用單數名詞
如：Any color will do.（任何顏色都可以）
