Learning How to drive

Before I knew how to drive, I was so jealous of people who knew how to drive. After I arrived in the U.S, the first thing that I wanted to do was I really hoped that my husband would teach me how to drive. However, I thought he didn’t want to because he said, “For the first time, you better learn from the coach. That will be easier for you.” Regardless of what my husband said, I still persisted that I just wanted to learn from him. Eventually, he gave me my first driving lesson.
A week later he decided to teach me. I was so excited; I turned the key, stepped on the gas pedal, and released the hand break. The car moved so fast. In addition, I almost hit the car which was parked in front of me. During this time, my heart stopped beating, and a lot of sweat came up onto my face. Then my husband yelled like a lion and he blamed me. Also, he said “I have never seen a person who drives as dangerously as you. What do u thinking? Are you out of your mind…….etc…?” After this event, he never taught me again. Therefore, I paid for the coach for learning how to drive. After a while I learned. I drove for twenty hours with the coach, and I practice a lot with my friends. Finally I passed the road test. In order to congratulate me for finally getting the drive’s license, my husband bought me a used car which looked like a lemon, but I was so happy that I can drive it everywhere.
According to this event, I discovered that my husband is not a good teacher, and he really can’t teach his wife how to drive a car.

Your English is OK. I have made some minor corrections.

Before I knew how to drive, I was so jealous of people who knew how to drive. After I arrived in the U.S, the first thing that I wanted my husband to do was to teach me how to drive. However, I thought he didn’t want to because he said, “As a first-time learner (or a beginner) , you had better learn from the coach. That will be easier for you.” Regardless of what my husband said, I still insisted that I just wanted to learn from him. Eventually, he gave me my first driving lesson.
A week later he decided to teach me. I was so excited; I turned the key, stepped on the gas pedal, and released the hand break. The car moved so fast. In addition, I almost bumped into the car parking in front of me. At that time, it seemed that my heart had stopped beating (or my heart was beating very fast), and I was sweating. Then my husband yelled like a lion and he blamed me. Also, he said “I have never seen a person who drives as dangerously as you. What are u thinking? Are you out of your mind…?” After this incident, he never taught me again. Therefore, I paid for the coach for learning how to drive. I could master the driving skills after I learned for some time. I drove for twenty hours with the coach, and I practiced a lot with my friends. Finally I passed the road test. In order to congratulate me for finally getting the driving licence, my husband bought me a second-hand car which looked like a lemon, but I was so happy that I could drive it to everywhere.
Through this event, I realised that my husband is not a good teacher, and he really can’t teach his wife how to drive a car.
