how plants communicate

As in humans, the brain gives all the commands to other parts of the body, but for plants there is none. How do plants communicate within themselves? They have no brains or any systems like nerves. How do the cells know what to do, for example to divide and grow?
更新1:

I mean, is there a part like the human brain which controls the activities within the plants? THank you.

Those instructions are all programmed into the DNA. Different environmental conditions will trigger the release/synthesis of different chemicals that would in-turn cause the expression of certain genes in the DNA. As a result, the plant will adapt to its surroundings based on the ambient conditions.

Is there a part like the human brain which controls the activities within the plants?

No brains in plants. They do react to changing environmental conditions by expressing different genes in their DNA.
