這 "幾十元" 英文點寫? 真被考起 !
見有答 ten dollars, tens of dollars, couple tens of dollars 等妙句, 但看來均不是代表 "幾十元". (看來 tens of dollars 較接近, 但也.....)
真希望能見到高手回答, 能增加我的知識.

你問緊"是不是" , 所以 用 present tense "Is it"= 係唔係;
句子中主要問是否這人, 不是問有冇偷(Had he stolen?), 所以用 "is it THIS kid";
而該偷竊已過去了, 所以用past tense "stole";
幾十元是廣東話, 如果幾百, 就用 "a few hundreds dollars"
