my XP have some problem so I recover my windows with the disc (SP3), but after I had recover XP, the bootup list (which let us choose W7 or XP) disappeared, how can I make the list appear again without re-install Windows7?

this problem is due to the fact that during the recovering operation of XP, it sets XP's partition as the active one , and so that the system seek the bootloader from XP's partition...
Since XP bootloader don't automatically detects Win 7, it thinks there's only one OS in the system

to solve it, try booting up your computer with Win 7 DVD
it should let u choose to repair the Win 7 installation
in this way it would scan the Harddisk for older OS, and add it to the BCD (the thing that Win vista & 7 uses for multi-OS booting)
most likely it would work
