I want to an additional external drive. I have a LACie 500gb that was running on my Mac for the past 3 years and I want to use it on my Windows Vista machine. I just connected it via the ESATA port and Vista told me it successufully loaded the drivers and when I run Belarc advisor this I don't see the letter. I assume I have to format the drive. Is this right?

To read files that were saved in Mac format, there's a program called MacDrive you can run. To just use the LaCie for additional storage, reformat the drive.
