Poisson distribution is a discrete distribution.
P(x=k) = e^-λ λ^k / k! k=0,1,2,3,..........
λ =6.15 (average of alpha particles)
P( x=6.15) cannot be computed using the Poisson distribution.
We can, however compute the probability that 6 alpha particles emit
P(x=6) = e^-6.5 (6.5)^6 / 6! = 0.160327
