Who would win: Kaname Tousen vs Ichimaru Gin?

Ichimaru Gin - He was called a genius in his younger years and like Aizen he was masking his true power while within the soul society.

Also because Kaname Tousen's Bankai has been shown, and it wasn't even very powerful its safe to assume that the only reason Gin's Bankai hasn't been shown is because it is in fact something really special that they wanted to show later on in the story to display the power of the characters at that time in the storyline.

Also he would have to be at least more powerful than the majority of the espada otherwise there would be no reason for them to listen to anything he said and no reason for them not to kill him.

To me Tousen is far more impressive with his hollow powers the Gin especially since this match starts Tousen off hollowfied from the start. Get ready, everyone here loves Gin to death so his votes are gonna skyrocket despite only impressive feats being sneak attacks which doesn't really require skill. =/ (Hyori, Aizen) Tousen wins this.

I agree with La Tourious. Kenpachi is the only one to beat Tousen (with he was using his bankai) and Gin is NOTHING compared to Kenpachi Zaraki =P

Gin will win.Gin is like the vice-captain while Tousen is like the 3rd seat.

Haha! Ichimaru Gin of course! Haven't seen him go all out in a fight yet. He's not a child genius for nothing. Gin is increasingly sneaky and I believe that even Aizen is a little afraid of him. We haven't seen Gin's battle abilities much and his bankai is not revealed yet. Kenpachi easily broke Tousen's bankai by sacrificing himself a little bit.

We still haven't seen Ichimaru Gin 'Do his thang' yet lol. But they usually do that for a reason.

Gin is mysterious, you don't even know what could he do, and with his only-once-shown red eyes I go like omg ^_^
Zaraki has had a fight already with Tousen, Tousen didn't really catch Zaraki and beat him up, Zaraki was bored lol....
but when fighting with Gin, you really feel the fight's soul, Gin looks so scary when he's serious you'd just need a way for escaping!!

Kaname Tousen, Gin is nothing compared to Kenpachi, and he was the only one to beat Tousen using his bankai, so if he uses his bankai he should win.
