Hi,
First, subtract both side 144x, so we will have:
4x²-144x=0
to make a problem easier, Divide all terms by 4, so then you get this:
x²-36x=0
for this one you can say a=1, b=36, c=0.
Hope it works :-)

4x^2-144x=0 divide by 4
x^2-36x=0 is the form ax^2+bx+c=0 with a=1 and b=-36
(x-6)*(x+6)=0
roots x=6 and x=-6

4x^2 = 144x
4x^2 - 144x = 0
4x^2 - 144x + 0 = 0

a = 4
b = -144
c = 0

4x² - 144x + 0 = 0

where a = 4, b = -144 , and c = 0
