✔ 最佳答案
x(8+5+2+4) = 114
x = 114/19 = 6

then
5x +3 = what
5(6) + 3 = 33

Add all the x values

8x + 5x + 2x +4x = 19x

114/19 = x

x = 6

plug x into the second equation

5(6) + 3

30 + 3

5x + 3 = 33

i havent accomplished maths for a year once you think approximately that i ended my GCSE's yet i did get an A im slightly rusty so i cant help with huge variety a million yet 2 ounds like its simultaneous equations...i've got have been given been given... (5x + 3) = (3x +9) you will want to multiply the two equations so as which you have equivalent style of x's in the two... (5x + 3) x 3 = (15x + 9) (3x + 9) x 5 = (15x + 40 5) subtract the 2nd equation from the 1st... (15x + 9) - (15x + 40 5) = -36 ... subsequently of fact the x's cancel one yet yet another out for this reason you purely do 9 - 40 5 so x = -36 (be unsleeping the respond is destructive, i havent purely made a typing errors) wish its precise lol, and need it facilitates

8x + 5x + 2x + 4x = 114
13x + 2x + 4x = 114
15x + 4x = 114
19x = 114
x = 114/19
x = 6
2009-02-21 3:43 pm
8x+5x+4x=114
17x=114
17x/17=114/17
x=6.7
2009-02-21 3:31 pm
8x+5x+2x+4x=114
19x=114
19/19=1
114/19=6
x=6
check by replacing x with 6
8*6+5*6+2*6+4*6
48+30+12+24
78+36=14

8x + 5x + 2x + 4x = 114
19x = 114
x = 6

then
5(6) + 3 =
33.

Add all the x's in this case:
19x=114
Divide both sides by 19:
The 19 in 19x cancels and we are left with x and 114 divided by 19 equals 6.
And
5(6)+3=?
30+3=33

I'll help. first lets combine like terms.

So 8x+5x+2x+4x=114, lets combine all of x

So all of the X's added together will become 19x=114

now we need to get down to just one x. So we need to divide by 19 because that is how many X's are there.

So 19 divided by 19 equals 1, and 114 divided by 19 =6 , So X=6

now that we have solved for x we can go plug it in the equation 5x + 3 = ? So put 6 where x is so it should like 5{6} + 3 = ? now mutiply 5 times 6 which gives you thirty and looks like this 30 + 3 = ?

now add 30 and three and you have your grand answer of 33

add all the coefficients
19x=114
divide by 19
x = 6

5 ( 6 ) + 3 =
30+ 3 = 33

you use the x to replace that one.
how dumb is this stuff?
i dont understand why 6th graders need this.
