what is a good anime show to watch?

I'd love to give an explanation of each, but there are just so many, wiki em, you'll be glad you did.

Monster - A great anime with many subplots that focuses around the action of a surgeon who saved the life of a boy that would grow up to be a "monster" figuratively.

Hellsing - Who Doesn't like vampires (The OVA's are better than the episodes)

Trigun - A Classic, Watch Gash The Stampede the man worth $60000000000 as he lives his life.

Cowboy Bebop - A space Cowboy Series

Samurai Champloo & Samurai Deeper Kyo - Classic samurai anime but awesome nonetheless. Gorey and action-filled.

D.Gray-Man - Tells an epic tail of a boy cursed by akuma yet fighting to save them while protecting humanity.

One Piece - People may call this anime kiddy, yet the masterful tale emphasizes friendship, strength, and following one's dreams.

Yugioh The Abridged Series- Not really an anime but the lampoon/parody of the show. Hilarious and great for laughs.

watch these anime if you dont know them or havent watch them:

Naruto or Naruto Shippuden:its about a kid named Naruto who wants to be Hokage and have a demon inside of him

Slam Dunk:if your into sports comedy anime you should try watching this

Captain Tsubasa:another sports anime but I dont know if it has comedy aswell but this anime is with soccer unlike Slam Dunk with Basketball

Nodame Cantabile:if you want to watch romantic comedy anime try watching this

Vampire Knight:I havent watch this but I heard its Awesome(from my friends that is)

Black Cat:I watched this anime and for me its Awesome

Darker than Black:its with fighting with powers and the moon and stars disappearing at night

Bleach:its also about fighting but not always (I think.....I dont really remember much)

D.N. Angel:its about a boy with a dark angel named Dark

Fushigi Yugi:if your into romance with a little comedy

Definitely check out Fullmetal Alchemist--I've worked on promotion stuff for it, but I wouldn't tell you to watch it unless it was amazing, which it is.

The storyline hinges around two brothers who lose their mother to illness, and attempt to bring her back to life through the use of alchemy--which is a taboo. The brothers suffer horrible damages to themselves during this, and afterward dedicate their lives to searching for the mythical 'Philosopher's Stone' (think Sorcerer's Stone, Harry Potter fans) which they believe will help them restore what they have lost. It's a very complex and moving story, alternating between touching, hilarious, tragic and downright horrific. Definitely a must.
