Non sticky rice in japanese super markets?

I've been living my japan for 5 months now , and I do my own cooking. But the rice here is somewhat sticky than what we have in my country (Sri lanka).
Is there any kind of non-sticky rice in Japanese super markets?
(Of course the low price :) , now I get 10Kg Rice packet for ~3400Yens )

Basmati and Jasmine rice are always difficult to find. When I see it in a shop (in Japan) I always buy some because the chance is so rare.

Carrefour Supermarket in Chiba and deep Saitama always have it. Otherwise check the food hall in the basement of most department stores and you might be lucky.

Or on-line.

Generally, Japanese consumers do not want to eat rice other than Japanese rice.

It means that supermarkets in Japan do not deal with other rice. You have to go to foreign supermarkets as another says.

You might want to try the local Chinatowns, ie. I am sure you'll find some in Yokohama chinatown.

Foreign foods stores have it, but not regular supermarkets. Unfortunately, all foreign rice is expensive in Japan because of tariffs.
Of course, if you like brown rice, you can get that easily (it's not sticky and it's cheap. Well, cheap for Japan). In Japanese it's "genmai" (玄米).

You asked supermarkets Thai-rice タイまい, didn't you?.

Unfortunately Japanese don' like non sticky rice. The market is very slim all over Japan.
