英國自由行......有很多交通上的問題未解決, 急!

英國的火車是私營的, 不像香港是公營的, 所以火車票價是"海鮮價". 同一行程 (單程)由英鎊8元到百幾元英鎊不定.

1. Yes.我在2007年去英國, 我當地的BBC friend (British-Born-Chinese)教我在http://www.nationalexpresseastcoast.com/.在online預先book平價火車票 (Advance Single) 由 London to Liverpool, 及 Manchester to London. 果然平很多,我早1個月book 只需英鎊16元, 但即日則英鎊170多元.若我再早一星期book的話,只需英鎊8.5.

advance single是最平的.但less flexibility.已fixed date and train departure time and reserved seat. 若要改, 一定要在departure date之前,而且要俾change charge (euro10), 新的ticket要以當時的新價為準.所以,既然買advance single便不要想住改.

你可看看off-peak ticket的時間是適合, 他的價錢較advance ticket貴,但較flexible.

至於machester和liverpool一程,在火車上買也行. 上年,我和bbc男友也是趕火車, jump to train後,才向operator買.
