How can you tell if a person make anime for fun/love or for money?

love for the art is as fun as the money youd get from that wich youll sell and it all comes together

I think no one but the artist would know...
Whether they do it for money or for the love of it, they would still pour everything into their work.
So I believe it's impossible to tell the difference unless you actually know the dude...
The original creators of Pokemon no longer are the only people who are now working with the current Pokemon...
Pokemon is soo big now that marketing is an important part of keeping it alive, so it's business, but you have no idea if this was the original creator's intention for this was just the future!

Anime? You probably mean Manga since Anime is usually just an adaptation to promote the Manga. I'd expect it to be both. I don't think anybody would want to be a Manga artist without passion for making them, but at the same time I think they'd be expecting to make a living off of what they do or some sort of payment because it's a profession.
