Could the ISS receive wireless internet?

It's only a few miles up there... surely it could reach that far.

Well, let's say the ISS did have the wireless connections to connect there, it would only be for periods of time. The satellites orbit Earth, so that Earth can have wireless internet, and the ISS orbits Eatth also. Most of the Earth is water, so the wireless internet satellites only orbit above land, the fish don't have computers. Most of the time, the International Space Station is above water, so when it is it is quite far from the satellites, so when it is, it wouldn't be able to anyways. The ISS probably has an onboard wireless internet connection anyways.
