School is enrolled based on your address. So unless you know your future address, there is nothing you can do to plan for which school.

I will take a assumption that you will be 18 years old this year. In this case, you are not obligated to go to any high school (What you need is a certification letter for a high school to prove that you have finished high school, which you have done). Then you can simply go straight to community colleges. However, in this case, you will lose your chance of networking and will use a lot of money.

If you can, why don't you give me your birthday and see if this is the best way?

A few friends and realatives asked me this question (or similiar questions) before. I think you can try the local community college (City Colleg of San Francisco). Upon completing the needed units and courses, you can transfer to a 4-year acredited univesity without lost of time (assuming you are on course with all the requirements and courses).

A community college offers a 2 year program equal to the first 2 year of a 4- year university. Therefore, you can transfer all units and classes to a 4- year university without having to repeat any of them. However, you may have to take more ESL (English for Second Language) classes in order to satisfy other higher level classes. You can check out their websites:
