1. It is given that the nth term of a sequence is n^2 + 3. Is the difference between any two consecutive terms of the sequence a constant? Explain your answer.


2. Which of the follwing rulers would you choose to measure the thickness of Mathematics textbook? Explain your answer.


Ruler A - 5 cm with 0.1cm per unit


Ruler B - 5 cm with 1cm per unit
Just before 9:00 p.m. , I asked this question but the question didn't apperar in "科學醫療>數學" so I posted it once again~

1. difference between n=1 and n=2, (2^2 + 3) - (1^2+3) = 3
difference between n=2 and n=3, (3^2 + 3) - (2^2+3) = 5
Hence, they are not a constant.

2. Ruler A - 5 cm with 0.1cm per unit.
