let's see i've watched little animes since 2008, but here are the ones that i've watched and of course i like all of them! All of these are mangas too! i think in all of them, episodes should be longer, i want more!

Gakuen Alice - also known as Alice Academy, it's a bit childish, as the characters are about 10 years olds and over (only a handful are younger), there is also "magic" which is implied to as the character's "Alice" (a person's own ability), i really love this show! there's even a love triangle! (or square, lol Hotaru!)

Special A - this one i think is really hilarious, of course romantic (with action) at the same time! well, it's between a very dense girl and a boy who is desperate (? maybe determine) to make her understand that he loves her!

Ouran High School - genre: comedy, gender bender (the girl), romance (there's more romance in the manga than in anime, which upsets me a bit)

Hatenkou Yuugi or Dazzle - this is my current infatuation, though it only has 10 episodes (? i think, and some 2 episodes [6 and 8?] are missing!!), this is about a 14 years old girl who is forced to leave the house by her father who wants her to go see the world, and on that same day she meets the mysterious Alzeid, after some days (?) Hi-tan (can't spell his full name, i think it's Barouqheat or something). i think Alzeid is between 19-22 years old and Hi-tan is between 25-above years old. (i think there's going to be a love triangle [or more in the manga?]) this has action, comedy, fantasy, a little bit scary and romance?

Well i hope you'll like them! I haven't watch Vampire Knight and Midori Hibi yet, but i'd like too! try watching these in animemedia.com!

Try these:

Neon Genesis Evangelion (including the movie The End of Evangelion. I wouldn't bother with the Eva movie Death and Rebirth though; it's just a recap of the series and the 1st half of End.): Philosophical, psychological mecha series, 26 episodes (not including the movie), 1996-1997. Considered to be one of, if not THE best anime series of all time. :D

Serial Experiments: lain---psychological series with many of the themes that Evangelion has, but without copying it (unlike RahXephon). 13 episodes, 1998, and one of my favorites.

Noein: 24 episodes, sci-fi, slightly philosophical, from 2000's.

Earth Maiden Arjuna: 13 episodes of philosophical (and often controversial) magical girl action. 2000's

Cowboy Bebop: 26 episodes + movie, a very well done space western/comedy.

Tenchi Muyo!: 20 episodes (OVA's 1-3). Hilarious harem/action anime. From late 1990's.Trust me, it's a winner! :)
