Will Guitar Hero: Metallica be compatible with the older instruments from Rock Band?

I've heard nothing on the subject, but I made the assumption that since Guitar Hero decided to steal Rock Band's idea... I mean, expand their game play options that this game would feature guitar, vocals and drums. If that is the case, does anyone know if the Rock Band instruments will work?

dude guitar hero was making the instruments way before rock band came out so rock band stole from guitar hero.

Also yes guitar hero metallica will be compatible with rock band instruments just like world tour

Im actually guessing not. Guitar hero is gay, and you cannot use any other game instruments with it.
