Will the shopping mall going to hate all Circuit City Stores after all Circuit City Stores close in the U.S.?

The Circuit City stores I've seen have not been in malls. They're in shopping centers or free standing plazas.

That said, if Circuit City is renting space in a mall, strip center or plaza, and CC closes its business, the mall managers will be very interested in collecting rent which was agreed upon, in the lease. I don't think hate enters into it as much as frustration about collecting rent that is owed. Will bankruptcy absolve CC from paying its contractual obligations? I don't know. I'm not an attorney.
