I want to apply for 禁制令 against certain specifc trespassers. What are the general steps, and must I do it via lawyer?

is it very costly, assuming there is solid evidence and proof?

or would there be any better alternatives , in the form of legal actions, against trespassers?

1. you should do it via a lawyer because there are a lot of affadavits (sworn statements) involved. affadavits are of a specific layout and it is not easy to draft one yourself.
2. the costs vary according to the law firm you select. eg. if you use a sole-proprietor solicitor, it is obviously going to cost you a lot less than if you use an international law firm such as baker & mckenzie. the guideline is about $8,000 - $10,000 but this is not a 100% accurate number.
3. call the police
P.S. only the CFI (court of first instance) of the high court could make an injunction order. the DC is not allowed to do so.

You should seek advice from lawyer, it should commence legal proceedings in District Court for an injunction order.

it is hard to estimate about the costs, if the Defendant contest the proceedings, much more costs will be incurred.

Firstly, I submit that I'm not familiar with the relevant ordinances and proceedings.

However, I do remember that my previous firm has acted for the Plaintiff to apply for an Order for Injunction on an urgent basis.

It is about to stop the trespass of lorries on a piece of land. We have sought an Order for injunction from a District Court Judge on Saturday (b/f issuance of writ).

That's why I have deep impression on that.
