In the Pokémon series, Ash's mother shown up. Will Ash's father going to show up soon?

I've always wanted to know, too... But my guess is B) No. It's one of those things that fans have built up too much, and whoever they pick for it to be then it'll probably seem like a lame disappointment.

But like it said, Pokémon Live was about the least canon thing ever - it also basically got Ash and Misty together, which, although awesome, was not meant to have happened so suddenly and unsubtly (in my opinion). Some things are just meant to stay mysteries and fuel the fire of interest. If everything was revealed the fans might get bored with nothing left to imagine.

Still, anyway, besides Giovanni, there' some good speculation out there that it's Professor Oak! And you know, I do agree that Ash and Oak's eyes in the anime seem to match... If I had to pick someone to support with a guess, it'd be him.

If this is true and we are allowed to keep our hopes up, I sure hope it will be a pretty darn awesome reveal. (Wait, how would PUSA know? Don't the Japanese creators write the stuff? Maybe it's a trick...)

really? introducing a new plot/storyline/arc on the pokemon SHOW? all they care about is ash winning new new badges, loosing the best characters,team rocket never accomplishing anything, and ash neglecting and abusing all pokemone except for little pikachu. maybe in the movies they would do something new like that, but still highly unlikely...

no. There is a rumour that there was a war in 'pokemon land' before season 1 started. That explains a lot because there are almost no male characters except children or professors or gymleaders and other high profil jobs. That means that all men had to go to war. But the professors and other smart people didnt because they had a important job.
If you saw the movie with Lucario. You see small parts of human and pokemon(like tyranitar,charizard) fighting. There was a green and a red army i think.
So thats why ash's father wont come back. He died in war

I don't think Ash's dad will show up even though Delia mentioned about him in one episode.

idk. although they do say the last episode of pokemon will be when ash meets his father and then battles him, only to find out he loses. i dont know if it is giovanni or oak. i think it is oak cuz i mean just look at him, if ash statred to age then he wood start to look like him. AND there is the strangest rumor that ash's mom got raped by a mewtwo wgen she was young and thats why she never gets old and ash never looks old either. Lol but i think that one IS VERY FALSE!!!!!

@The Happy Emo: But in that game you are playing as May, who's father is in the real show. So it's normal for her father to be in the game, because May wants to become good enough that her father will recognize her as a good Pokemon trainer.

But Ash's father has never been mentioned. It's normal in anime for one or both parents to be dead. And very frequently it's never mentioned what happened to the parents. Honestly, I've seen many anime, like Pokemon, where it hasn't been confirmed at all if the father and or mother are even dead. The parents are never even mentioned in the show.

No you never meet ashes dad infact one of the reasons why ruby and saffire weren't the best pokemon games is because you got to meet your father which was wrong because what makes a good pokemon game is only knowing the mother and if they introduced ashes dad then the series would be ruined...unless ashes dad was giovanni then that would be hysterical but too much like star wars
