Eh? 2x+2=10, x=4... so then 2(4)+2=10, meaning 8+2=10, which is 10=10.

I'm pretty sure it's 10. Either your teacher is wrong or maybe your misread the question/answer.

x is indeed 4. maybe you copied the problem wrongly?

2x + 2 = 10
2x = 10 - 2
2x = 8
x = 8/2
x = 4

2X + 2 = 10 | (-2)
2X = 8 | (/2)
X = 4

There's no way x can be 20.

Do you really want 2 equals signs? This doesn't make sense.

When X=4
in the equation
2x+2=10
ul put the 4 where X is so
2(4)+2=10
8+2=10
10=10
Dude ur teacher is wrong and on crack
