Why do pokemon game boy advance games still cost alot?

I though that after a few years pokemon fire red would be a lot less because I wanted to leach some started for my leaf green and Diamond but it cost like $30! That's only like 5 dollars down from years ago! I looked at ruby a sapphire witch a got in like 5th grade and they costed $30 too what the h e double hockey sticks!

BECAUSE...lol.... Older Pokemon games can be used with the newer ones, making people to want to buy the older ones to get Pokemon only exclusive to those.

Its because they are good games.About 2 years ago...I went to EB games and sold my red
