回答 (10)
✔ 最佳答案
(7a - 14)/(6a - 12)
= [7(a - 2)]/[6(a - 2)]
= 7/6
The lowest term=
[6a-12+a-2]/[6(a-2)]=
1+1/6=
1 1/6........(assume a can not be 2)
(7a-14)/(6a-12)
7a-14/6a-12
1a/2
both of the ansers on top are wrong
1= u cant just cancle 6a from top and bottom. its division
2= u cant foil its division
not sure what gread this question is from , seems little 2 simple
7a-14 7a-7
______ you can reduce 14 and 12 by dividing them by 2 _________
6a-12 6a -6
plug in some #s
a=1 you get 7/6
a= 10 7/6
a= 125 7/6
there for its just 7/6
This is 7(a - 2) / 6(a - 2), so, as long as a does not equal 2, the fraction is 7/6, (or 1 1/6, if you want to give the answer in mixed numbers)
(7a-14)
----------
6a-12
..7(a-2)
=----------
..6(a-2)
=7/6 answer
7a-14
----------
6a-12
7(a-2)
--------
6 (a-2)
7/6= 1 1/6
(7a-14)/(6a-12)
=7(a-2)/6(a-2)
=7/6
7(a - 2) / 6 (a - 2) = 7/6
