(b) Hence, prove that
(sin2@ + 1) / ( 1 + cos2@ + sin2@) = (tan@ + 1) / 2

Let t=tanx
sin2x
=2sinxcosx
=2t/(1+t^2)
cos2x
=cos^2x-sin^2x
=(1-t^2)/(1+t^2)
(b)
(sin2x + 1) / ( 1 + cos2x + sin2x)
=(2t+1+t^2)/(1+t^2+1-t^2+2t)
=(t+1)^2/(2t+2)
=(t+1)/2
=(tanx+1)/2

sin@ = t / (1 + t^2)^(1/2)
cos@ = 1 / (1 + t^2)^(1/2)
