As you all know, gold can be dissolved in a mixture of conc. hydrochloric acid and conc. nitric acid. But after dissolving, I want to know how the gold can be purified out from the solution?
Can anyone tell me since I'm really interest in that! Thx

You can use HCl & H2SO4, not nitric acid. This is called aqua regia. You can recover gold from solution aqua regia by adjusting the pH to 2-4 & then add reducing agent to ppt the metallic gold. I found the information from a US patent 31407389. You can first click on goggle under the title "Recovery of gold from aqua regia", then you read the patent in detail to get what you want.
