No, Cubs never win the World Series after 101 years. But other baseball teams are Tampa Bay Rays, Texas Rangers, Colorado Rockies, Seattle Mariners, and many other teams did not win the first World Series titles in the first time.

Maybe - the 00's seem to be the decade of curse-breaking. My Phils won their first title since '80 (first major title for the city since '83). The Chisox beat their Black Sox curse. The Bosox knocked off the Curse of the Bambino - twice! The D-backs and Angels won their first titles, period. You never know!
