✔ 最佳答案
√x - 9 = 7
√x = 7+9 (moving 9 to another side, sign changes from - to +)
√x = 16
(√x)^2 = 16^2 (squaring both sides)
x = 256.( when u square √x, u get x)

√x - 9 = 7
√x = 16
x = 256

Assuming it is just √x and not √(x-9)
2009-01-31 10:48 pm
√x - 9 = 7
√x = 7 + 9
x = 16^2
x = 256

the ans is simple just remember the simple BODMAS.
√x=7+9
=16
therefore, x=16's square i.e.16*16
therefore, x=256.
Thanks & Regards.

√x-9=7
you next move 9 on te oder side of = and get
√x=7+9
add
√x=16
then you calculate how much is 16 ^2
and you get
x=256
參考: if you had √x=4, you would do: 4^2=>x=16 if you had √x=10 you would do 10^2=>x=100 and, if you had √x=5, you would had 5^2=>x=25 Hope it helps.. ;)

Is it the square root of (x-9) or the square root of x, then -9?

If it's the latter, SqR X=7+9 > X=(7+9) Squared.

I think you remember now.

√x = 7+9 = 16
x = 16^2 = 256
