so i ordered something online.
i used the confirmation number and tracked it on usps website.
the site said the package was attempted to be delivered at 4pm and a notice was left.
it was impossible since i was at home at that time! but nothing was delivered! and they said they left a notice but i got no notice at all.
how can i pick up my package when i don't have the notice??
can i just print out what the tracking function said and go to the post office to ask for the package??
please help. the package is really important.
USPS said they left a notice but i didn't get it!!! please help?

That happened to me one time. All I did was call USPS main number, then I gave them my tracking number, and they told me which Post Office to go pick it up at.The number is 1-800-ASK-USPS (1-800-275-8777).

Let me guess, bad weather? They are lazy sometimes and I think they leave that status so that it doesn't look like they delivered it late. Most likely they were behind schedule or something and didn't want to deal with the parcel that day.

Just go to the post and ask for your package.
