Elfin Lied, a huge majority of people have seen it and like it/talk about it loads, though I haven't but it seems cool ^___^ I would watch it...but I can't ever seem to find the time D:

Yu Yu Hakusho and Cowboy Bebop.
These are some of the earlier animes and I think they really set some good standards. I've gotten around to watching the first couple of episodes of Bebop, but honestly have no idea why I haven't finished.
But from what I hear on the web and from friends, they're pretty much awesome.

Elfen Lied.
Personally, I never got passed episode 5, because...
1. Sometimes I'm just too tired/lazy to continue it.
2.I always find another anime that drags me in,
even though I still want to finish Elfen Lied.
3.I have too much work to do and never get around to it.
Though I know what happens in the end (my friend spoiled it for me -.-)
I think the show is really sad and amazing, it's beautiful even though it is quite gory. That's why I respect it, even though I still need to finish about 8 episodes.

Cowboy Bebop. And Im not sure if I wrote that right. I respect old school anime but Im not a big fan of that times animation or style (i dont know) and I havent watched them. Theres only one exception and that is DBZ.
