independance fm does'nt work on GTA4 and im really pissed off?

I have done everything it has told me to do, I have created a file in GTAIV folder called User Music and put all of my MP3s in there and it does'nt play anything other than the same annoying corny adverts. It sucks, and so does rockstar, they should of provided more info on how to do this cause the info out there at the moment is abysmal. Somebody help?, please cause I got a feeling that Yahoo Answers is sucking *** too.
