Has anybody applied for an EEA 2 application? if so how long did it take? Thanks?

the rules say (6 month rule 5.9 chapter 5 - see first link) that it should take no longer than 6 months, however if you go to the second link at the bottom of the page it tells you that they are currently dealing with Feb 2008 applications.

If you have notched up almost 6 months waiting get a help agency (like CAB, or Immigration Advisory Service) or your MP to send a letter of complaint. You could also threaten to sue - but if you are going to threaten you will need help and be prepared to do it.
