Do the Chinese eat monkey brains while the monkey is still alive?

I believe I saw this on the old video" FACES OF DEATH". They were in a remote village somewhere in Thailand or Cambodia and the "tourists" sat down at an outdoor restaurant. The waiter brings a live monkey and places him in this hole in the middle of the table. The hole has a neck collar so only the monkey's head is above the table. Each guest is handed a mallet so they begin hitting the live monkey over the head until the monkey passes out. They split his head open and begin digging out the brains and eating them. Some of the guests covered their eyes while striking the monkey over the head.

To the best of my knowledge the Chinese don't practice the eating of monkey brains -at all-.

I have heard that some more remote regions of India do (or at one point did) but it would be impossible to do so while the monkey is alive.

No, not when they are still alive, and not since long long time ago (since the Qing Dynasty back in the 1600-late 1800s).
