i have never heard of pineapple juice for inducing labor

Pineapple contains an enzyme said to help the cervix ripen. However, some studies say that you would have to eat about 7 fresh whole pineapples for it to take any effect. There's lots of other things to try - sex, walking, nipple stimulation. Unfortunately though, baby will come when ready. The average first baby is born 8 days after their EDD - both of my children were induced at 42 weeks.

you should drink raspberry leaf tea it helps with the contractions. Babies usually come when they are ready.

I have given birth to 3, not one came on the said day, all 2-3 weeks late!

well my sister is due in 3 days and there has been no sighn of my liitle nephew yet or sighns but try a really hot curry the baby will come out then lol

Chinese people say that you can try watermelon to induce labor and then black sesame to make delivery easier (they said sesame makes it more 'slippery' and baby just slides right out).

it suppose to makes you go into labor. Don't be in such a hurry because once it starts happing you will want it to stop. I never had any signs i just went into labor with both my daughters. Good luck!

I don't think any of these things work, like juices and all that. I know that you suppose to walk a lot, that's all. Hope your baby comes soon! But it will happen naturally, it is the best thing for both of you.

Fresh pineapple they say. I dont know why but i guess its cos it is acidy? lol

Don't think the pineapple will work.Or anything else fo that matter. Tried all sorts with my baby, from walking, crawling,hot curry,spicy food to sex and nipple stimulation.Nothing worked.I was induced at 42 weeks.
