It depends on what you like. I am museum and palace lover. Hence I spent 6 days 5 night in Paris last year but some peope said that it is too much.
I would suggest that you can travel Paris + Strasboug (the second large city in France, the "Christmas Town" of France, at north of France but near Germany)

Day 1: Paris Area 75018 & 75008:

Day 2: Area 75001, 75009, 75008:

Day 3 : Le Chateau de Fontainbleau (Sub-urban area of Paris), Place de la Bastille, Le Marais
Day 4: Area 75004, 75001:
Le Cathedrale de Notre Dame, IIe de la Cite, Musee d'Orsay, Sainte Chapeele, Conciergerie, Les Quais de Seine, Hotel de Ville, Les Halles
Day 5: Le Chateau de Versailles
Day 6-8: Strasbourg
