My truck bottoms out on bumps, and rides badly?

I have a older s10 pickup and every time I go over a dip in the road it just about make the front of the truck lift off the ground, and it bottoms out over speed bumps if I go faster than 10 over them. The truck also makes bad creaking noises and poping going over bumps and when you apply the brakes. My friend has a chevy lumina car and it doesn't even do this, and it is lower to the gound.

You better head to the Mechanics to check for the suspension system of your vehicle. It may be due to the worn off of the springs, but also may be due to problems of the ball joints or the torsion bars.

I would say if you want to keep it stock go to lmctruck.com and look for stock replacement springs for your s-10 and invest in some good shocks like some bilestine or edelbrock. They may cost more but in the end they last way longer. Oh yea and get new brakes b 4 your old ones wear out and you end up getting into a crash. Also have your local alignment shop check your steering for the same reason. Keep general maintenence on your truck and it will last for almost ever cause my chevy k-2500 (1989) has lasted me almost 20 years just by doing that and I'm the first owner! I hope this has helped ya and I hope your truck will ride smoother after you get new springs

Ya so ?? sounds like you need some Shocks + maybe some new front end parts. Make sure your springs in the back are not broke . Replace the shocks with some new ones about 20$ each.
