my period is really late..but i got a negative pregnancy test last week!?

I posted on here a week and a half ago because I was experiencing nausea attacks, frequent urination, tender breasts, aches in my legs and back, and cold sweats! Me and my fiance had unprotected sex a month ago from this past Friday, so I thought that I might be pregnant. But, last monday (a week from today) I took an HPT..and it was negative! Now its a week later and still no sign of my period. I last had my period December 11th (it was a regular period) and my cycle is usually 28-29 days! Now i am over a week late for my period! Im not sure what it could be at first I thought that maybe it was nerves with me thinking that I was pregnant, but for the last week I have been relaxed relying on the pregnancy test. Was it too early to test? Should I retest? Do you think I'm pregnant..if not what could it be? I really hope I am pregnant! But i dont know! Please let me know what you think! THANKS <3<3

Hi, I actually found out that I am pregnant on January 8th. The first day of my last period was on December 11th as well. The doc said that I probably ovulated on the 25th and my baby is due September 17th. I experienced the same symptoms as you, but I was extremely gassy as well. I think that maybe you could be pregnant. Your body just might not be producing as much hCG. I would definitely take another pregnancy test. Congrats if you are. Our babies will probably have the same due date. :)

Try another test. I took one a week before my missed period and it say negative than when i was 9 day late I took another and it was positive.

Take another test, it's been almost a week since you last tested. And if the test still comes back negative, it's time to go to the doctor's and ask for further testing to see where your period went.

Try another test. I would wait to take the test in the morning before you pee, cause morning urine has a higher level of hormones. Good Luck!
