Do you have to miss your period before the earliest pregnancy signs show up?

I fooled around with my boyfriend 16 days ago, on the 6th day of my cycle - so if I AM pregnant, I'm in the first 2 weeks of pregnancy. However, I have yet to miss my period.

So the question is, basically...Do you HAVE to miss your period before the first signs, like morning sickness and tender breasts, show up? Or should I be experiencing signs by now, since it's the 16th day of possible pregnancy?

From what I've read so far (online and in books), most women don't experience pregnancy symptoms and morning sickness until at least 4-5 weeks pregnant earliest, which means you would have gotten a missed period by that time.

I don't know about your specific case, but most people don't get pregnancy symptoms until a missed period...and some don't get symptoms until later in pregnancy (if at all).

first of all, if you are on the 6th day of your cycle you havent even ovulated yet! so no you are not pregnant!
second of all, you wouldnt have had a period (assuming thats where you started counting your cycle) if you were pregnant!
third of all, usually yes, you miss your period before you get the signs of preg. i only had sore breasts before my missed period, but that is normal for me anyway.
wait and see if you miss your period this month. if so, take a test.
