what is error 31 on network adapters?

ive installed microsoft ISATAP adapter 5,but the caution mark remains on the device manager,it also says the best driver is up to date,but it wont operate because error 31,im new to computers can anybody point me in the right direction, thanks

It's a problem with the driver.See below for a details of all error codes issued by device manager.

this error may appear if two or more devices are dependent on each other, see if there are any errors for any other device in device manager.

if this is a new adaptor for your pc. you might need to reinstall the broadband before you install the adapter.

things you can try
1 Check for updates. The network adapters are delivered by windows update
2 dvice manager > network adapters > uninstall everything, then restart your comp and let windows reload the drivers
