No, for student u need to live in UK for 10 years to qualify for ILR.

you're in trouble babe...you need to return to your country of origin and apply for a resident's visa and then come in on that and apply for permanent residency.

if you are working then you can apply for resident permit. if you are student then you have to go back home

as students are not counted as a resident.

now your student visa ends you will have to leave the Uk
there is no guarantee that you will make it back here.

we now have a new points system so you will have to have a trade that we are in need of to gain entry back.

do not think of over staying any visa as you will be caught.

You can apply for anything.Weather you get it or not is another matter altogether.I think your nationality has a lot to do with it.
