All you do is divide the 4 and 5 but put the five before the four then multiply it by 8

(4/5) X (8/1) = 32/5 = 6 2/5

4/5 x 8
= (4 x 8)/5
= 32/5
= (5 x 6 + 2)/5
= (5 x 6)/5 + 2/5
= 30/5 + 2/5
= 6 + 2/5
= 6 2/5

First, you divide 4 by 5. Then take that result, and multiply by 8.

It is completely different from 4 / (5 * 8).

4/5 x 8 =

4/5 x 8/1 = 32/5

unless you meant

4/ (5 x8) =
4/40=
1/10
