It was really an enjoyable day! Everyone was playing so happily!
Note :
- Your sentence is talking about a day that has gone. So we should use past tense.
- For playing we seldom use words relating to efforts, because you really do not need to spare effort in playing. Therefore I used "happily" instead of 投入 which has meaning of paying effort.
