Though I'm more on Naruto's side when it comes to things, I would have to say Uchiha Sasuke is more full of sorrow than Naruto.

One thing is, that it's much harder losing a family you've known for years than it is losing a family you never even have a single bit of memory of.

Sasuke practically saw his own brother kill his entire clan, which left him petrified with questions of "why?" at such a young age.

As for Naruto, he never knew his parents, and even this far into the manga he probably doesn't know who his parents are.

But Naruto's sadness is revolved around the people who knew something he did not, while Sasuke is revolved around witnessing the slaughter of his family. The lost of your entire family is much more saddening than being ignored and treated like an underclassmen.

Naruto because naruto was hated by all the villegers untill being 12, sasuke everyone admired him and he just chose to ignore them so his problem dat he felt alone when everyone wanted him. naruto was hated for no reason and treated like a monster, =( poor naruto!

how can u even try to compare them. both had terrible childhoods. sasuke saw his whole clan killed by his brother (the person he most wanted to be like) naruto was alone and despised by everyone and didnt know or understand why.

i wouldnt wish either childhood on anyone, but the question should have been who handled and perservered through their rough childhoods better, and that would be naruto. naruto never let his childhood destroy him and worked his butt off to make everyone except him and except him they did. sasuke is still dealing with the emotional strain of his childhood.

Naruto.
Sasuke has chances to spend hi childhood with his family. But Naruto has never meet any of his family. Naruto is totally alone during his childhood.

I think Sasukes childhood was very bitter and lonley, but I think Naruto's was a lot more sad and confusing.

Well Naruto had a terrible childhood it's just that since people initially say well of course having your family murdered is worse they say sasuke. could you imagine being naruto as a little innocent kid that everyone in the whole town hated, despised, feared? Imagine even if a kid came over to talk or play with you and they were hurried away by their parents to stay away from that monster. Also he had no parents and he watched all the children leave with their parents while he went home to nobody. That being said I think sasuke had it worse in the end because naruto fairly quickly found friends like the 3rd and iruka to be there for him. Sasuke had a fairly happy childhood but even at the time his family was alive he was just an innocent little kid caught up in a lot of behind the scene issues that he didn't exactly understand. Even when his family was alive he didn't feel loved by his own father.. then when finally they start to get along and see eye to eye his dad was killed. Sasuke had to witness about 40 some hours or more of watching and watching his whole family be sliced open, all at the age of 7, and then later when he was 13.. I don't think anyone would ever be able to get over that. also the fact that he loved his brother more than anything and to be so betrayed by him at such a young age.. also imagine after all of this and he had no family members alive at all. then he had to go to school and hear kids complain about their strict parents while he'd do anything to be yelled at or punished by his parents because he wanted them to be alive so much. Then he had to return for many years every night to a giant empty house, in a giant empty neigborhood, with no lights on but his own house lights. I don't think anyone could imagine how terrible he felt living like this. The ironic thing is people say he's so evil now and all but all of this, the power, the need to be an avenger, the betrayal of konoha came not out of malicious intent but because even after many years he still couldn't get over the death of his family that he loved more than anything, and the betrayal of his once adored brother. He's actually very kind and sweet deep down but he didn't want to let anyone in because he was afraid of them being taken from him one day like how his parents were killed and he couldn't live with that.. He wanted to break the bonds so he could focus on his life goal, his reason for living, training, getting up in the morning.. I think maybe he felt he'd never be able to forgive himself if he let itachi go on living and he did nothing to help the memory of his once admired family.. so sasuke definately but naruto's was far from a cake walk...

sasuke cause he suffered in vain and he saw his family die in front of him and also his own brother turned against everything he ever knew. But Naruto could never feel what that is like but Sasuke knows how Naruto feels so.....

But on the other hand Naruto has been treated poorly and no one would ever accept him he was left alone, but in a way so wasnt Sasuke? Just cause girls liked him the boys would show no admiration for him at all. This is a confusing question but good one. Id usaully say Naruto in everything but apparently Sasukes life is much more sad..in a way......

naruto. they treated him as an outcast and had no family experiences.
sasuke had a sad childhood, but at least he had a family when he was young, naruto was alone and took care of himself. and that's why naruto needs sasuke back 'cause he's "family" to naruto.

Naruto in the beginning. Sasuke was alright in the begining because he was being praised all the time. As for Naruto, he was always being "talked" at and being kept away from everything else. Basically, Naruto's childhood from the time he was born to age 12, he was isolated.
