Look on the map (under the pause menu) and pop up the legend, look for "safe house" and then follow until you get to the safe house. go inside, and look around for a save pick up.

Go inside your house, there will be a save spot upstairs. .

Walk into any house marked with a disk icon on the map (CJ's house for example). Then walk into the blue spinning disk inside the house. Select your save file or create a new one and all is good.

when you buy a house you can go in it and save there. and if you have not bought a house the original house that you start at beside the drug guy is all ways available.
