galvanized(鍍zinc)

意思是指為了iron(鐵)防止rusting，鍍一層zinc上去，因為zinc的 layer可以防止oxygen同water入去個iron，不過zinc好似有毒。

"Galvanized" means that a layer of zinc is coated on the surface of a metal (for example, iron).

The layer of zinc can be coated on the metal surface by electroplating or by dipping the metal into molten zinc.
