What made the job-hunting so difficult for fresh graduates

5.9 million Chinese university students will graduate this June, and now they have already started job-hunting. The average employment rate of graduates last year was 70%, and the situation is expected to deteriorate this year since the economy crisis which has hit the whole world affects China, too.

1. The number of university graduates is nearly 6 millions, a large supply.
2. Employment rate of graduate will drop steeply due to the closing down or a great reduction in business of a large number of enterprises. the demand for staff will drop and thus the number of job position will drop steeply too. This is largely due to the present global economy crisis which hits China as well.
Due to this sudden drop in demand of staff, the graduates have to start to job-hunting earlier to get a better chance of being employed first.
