This is a 5th grade math problem
This is not a trick question. This is a real math
problem so don't say that a bus has no legs.
There are 7 girls in a bus
Each girl has 7 backpacks
In each backpack, there are 7 big cats
For every big cat there are 7 little cats
Question: How many legs are there in the bus?
I dont actually know the answer myself yet as it has only just been emailed to me so i thought i would pass it on.
math question just for fun?

7 girls: 14 legs7×7 = 49 backpacks: 0 legs
49×7 = 343 big cats: 1372 legs
343×7 = 2401 little cats: 9604 legs
Total number of legs: 14 + 1372 + 9604 = 10990
Add 2 if there is a bus driver
Total number of legs: 10990 (or 10992)

= 14 + 1372 + 9604
= 1386 + 9604
= 10990 legs
= 14 + 1372 + 9604
= 1386 + 9604

No. of legs of girls = 2x7 = 14
There are a total of 7x7 = 49 backpacks in the bus.
No. of big cats = 7x49 = 343.
No. of legs of big cats = 343x4 = 1372
No. of small cats = 343x7 = 2401
No. of legs of small cats = 2401x4 = 9604.
Total number of legs = 1372 + 9604 + 14 = 10 990 legs. (wow, that's quite a lot!)
If there is a driver, there will be 10 990 + 2 = 10 992 legs.

Ok so lets work this out.
So 14 Legs = Girls
1372 Legs = Big Cats
9604 Legs = Little Cats
So all together thats:
10990 Legs (Basically a whole lot of legs) I have no idea if this is right, I just randomnly did this on a piece of paper, so it could be a bit inaccurate.

8 cats (1 big and & kittens)
8X4x7 = number of legs in one bag = 224
x7 = number of legs of one girl = 1568
x7 = total legs of cats = 10976
+14 = girls legs = 10990
+ 2 for the drive - if there is one
= 10992

1 backpack has 7 big cats and each big cat has 7 little cats so there are 49 cats in one backpack which means there are 196 legs in one backpack and each girl carries 7 backpacks so that means 1372 legs plus the two legs of the girl carrying it making 1374 and if there are 7 girls you multiply 1374 by 7 and get 9618 legs on the bus plus the driver if there is one
