They are not the same. The style of traditional clothing in Japan is different from the style in China, as are the styles of hair ornaments and makeup (there are similarities, yes, but they are not the same). For Japanese clothing, you might want to google things like kimono, geisha, and kabuki for more information on the clothes and makeup (regular people in Japan don't wear white makeup except for costumes -- the people who wear that kind of makeup regularly are geisha, kabuki actors, taishu engeki actors, tayuu, and oiran). For Chinese clothing, try googling hanfu or Peking opera.

Chinese and Japanese cultures are totally different. What you described is the Japanese culture and not Chinese.

It's like saying the cowboy hat and the Mexican sombero is the same.

No they aren't the same. Chinese traditional dresses and Japanese dresses are totally different.

As to why they do it the way they do, it is historical, cultural and traditional.

Why do western people wear black tuxedos and white wedding dresses then? Because of history, culture, tradition. The same reason.

All the descriptions you wrote are about Chinese outfit, not Japanese.
As others pointed out, if you compare them side by side, you can easily recognize the clear differences between the two.

By the way, jap is not the appropriate abbreviation for Japan.
And China is never called chini, either.

Chinese and Japanese are totally different in their culture and background. Don't be confused by poor prejudice and/or misleading.

I incredibly have like the comparable factor only with vikings (norwegians, icelanders and such) and that i've got a norwegian boyfriend suitable now and that i'm very pleased for it. ok we only had a faux impression yet we regarded after that out like a hour in the past so that is all ok now returned. i think of you should flow with the eastern guy because of the fact he appears like a dream boy for you. you should like clarify on your boyfriend and he will understand. you should help him getting a sparkling female pal too till that gets too weir. I was hoping THIS HELPED:)) if it dont artwork out with the eastern guy you should attempt a norwegian they're rather warm
